I continue to read up on vegetable gardening and search for new veggie recipes. Going to try three new recipes this week from some of my library cookbook finds. It is so fun to try out new recipes! I've decided that cookbooks with pictures are usually the way to go. How else can I get excited about a dish if I can't see it and salivate over it?! Or how will I know if the meal turned out properly if I don't have anything to compare it to? The Mark Bittman Food Matters Cookbook seems like an excellent resource. I've even tested and savoured a recipe or two from Food Matters but the poor thing usually ends up forgotten on the kitchen shelf because its just not as fun to look through.
